Ingredients
12 fresh strawberries, washed and completely dry
6 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
Optional: white or milk chocolate for drizzling
Optional toppings: heart sprinkles, crushed nuts, coconut flakes, pink sanding sugar
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20–30 second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly.
Place dipped strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
If desired, drizzle with melted white or milk chocolate or add toppings before the chocolate sets.
Chill in the refrigerator for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Serve immediately or store chilled until ready to enjoy.
Notes
Cooking Tips
-
Make sure strawberries are completely dry—any moisture can cause the chocolate to seize.
-
Use high-quality chocolate for the smoothest texture and best flavor.
-
For a glossy finish, let the chocolate cool slightly before dipping.
