Notes
Cooking Tips
- Perfect Rise: Make sure your milk is warm, not hot—too much heat can kill the yeast.
- Extra Fluffy Rolls: Don’t add too much flour; the dough should be slightly sticky.
- Even Baking: Use a metal baking pan for a more even golden crust.
- Shiny Tops: Brush rolls twice—once right out of the oven and again before serving.
Variations
- Cinnamon Honey Rolls: Add 1 tsp cinnamon and a sprinkle of brown sugar to the dough.
- Garlic Honey Butter Rolls: Mix minced garlic into the glaze for a sweet-savory twist.
- Whole Wheat Version: Substitute half of the flour with whole wheat flour.
- Stuffed Rolls: Add a cube of cheese or a spoon of jam inside each dough ball before baking.
- Dinner Slider Rolls: Make smaller rolls for mini sandwiches or sliders.
