Ingredients
8 slices French bread, sourdough, or Italian bread
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
8 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced
8 fresh basil leaves (or chopped basil)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 2-3 minutes.
Brush both sides of the bread slices lightly with olive oil.
Place bread in the air fryer basket and toast for 2 minutes until lightly crisp.
Remove bread and top each slice with tomato, mozzarella, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Return to air fryer and cook for 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze if desired. Serve warm.
