Instructions
1. Prepare the Strawberries
In a large bowl, combine sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss well and let sit for 15–20 minutes until juicy and syrupy.
2. Make the Whipped Cream
In a chilled mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft to medium peaks form. Do not overbeat.
3. Assemble the Trifle
In a clear trifle bowl (or large glass serving bowl), layer:
