Air Fryer Pork Chops

Air Fryer Pork Chops

These Air Fryer Pork Chops are perfectly seasoned, irresistibly crispy on the outside, and incredibly juicy on the inside. Made with simple pantry spices and cooked in under 15 minutes, this easy air fryer recipe is perfect for busy weeknights while still delivering restaurant-quality flavor.

  • Total Time: 17–20 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless pork chops (1-inch thick)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.

Pat pork chops dry with paper towels and brush both sides with olive oil.

In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

Season pork chops evenly on both sides.

Place pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

Cook for 6–7 minutes, flip, then cook another 6–8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

Rest pork chops for 3–5 minutes before serving to lock in juices.

Notes

Cooking Tips

  • Thickness matters: Use pork chops at least 1 inch thick to prevent drying out.

  • Don’t overcrowd: Cook in batches if needed for maximum crispiness.

  • Use a thermometer: Pork is perfectly juicy at 145°F, not overcooked.

  • Rest before slicing: This keeps the pork chops tender and moist.

Variations

  • Breaded Pork Chops: Coat pork chops in egg wash and seasoned breadcrumbs before air frying.

  • Spicy Version: Add cayenne pepper or chili powder for extra heat.

  • BBQ Pork Chops: Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

  • Parmesan Crusted: Mix grated parmesan with the seasoning blend for a crispy, cheesy crust.
