Air Fryer Bacon

Air Fryer Bacon

Air fryer bacon is the easiest way to get perfectly crispy, evenly cooked bacon with less mess and less grease. No splatter, no flipping over a hot pan—just golden, crunchy strips ready in minutes.

  • Total Time: 10–12 minutes
  • Yield: 4 (about 2 slices per person) 1x

Ingredients

8 slices bacon (regular or thick-cut)

Instructions

Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 2–3 minutes.

Arrange bacon in a single layer in the air fryer basket (overlap slightly if needed).

Cook for 8–10 minutes, checking at the 7-minute mark.

Remove bacon and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

Cooking Tips

  • For extra crispiness: Add 1–2 minutes, checking frequently.

  • Thick-cut bacon: Increase cook time to 10–12 minutes.

  • Less smoke: Add 1 tablespoon of water to the bottom of the air fryer drawer.

  • Batch cooking: Cook in rounds for best texture—don’t overcrowd.

Variations

  • Peppered Bacon: Sprinkle with cracked black pepper before cooking.

  • Brown Sugar Bacon: Lightly dust with brown sugar for sweet-and-salty flavor.

  • Maple Bacon: Brush with maple syrup during the last 2 minutes.

  • Turkey Bacon: Cook at 375°F for 7–9 minutes, flipping once.
